| I noticed that they taped the final episode of “Wipeout” right in my back yard of Venice Beach. Which meant that Jill Wagner the incredible Mercury Commercial Girl – now co-host of Wipeout was also in my backyard and I missed her — Damn. |

NBA Finals Last Game 6 0

| Tonight was the final game of the NBA Finals against the Lakers and Celtics. Instead of fighting the crowds at Nikki’s I decided to watch it on my new system in my studio. Yes that is 5 TVs and 3 computer monitors, why? I think I just like to create a a total control room atmosphere here in my little studio.Oh, by the way – the Laker game was a blow out and the Lakers lost an embarrassing game. I stopped watching after the first quarter and continued to clean my studio. |

Missy Peregrym 0

| I know this will seem like a silly post, but I had to admit that it was kind cool that I layout Missy Peregrym’s headshots today. I first noticed her in Heroes, then she moved over to a new show on the CW called Reaper. Which I have to confess that I enjoy the show and I am not just watching it because Missy is, well, rather hot. |

Battlestar Galactica 0
|
|
| Before the premiere of the final season of Battlestar Galactica the surprising hit from the SciFi Channel. I had to comment on how well this is done. The special effects are done so well to follow and detail the story. I have to tip my hat to Atmosphere Visual Effects, Enigma Studios Inc and of course Zoic Studios. Why they can’t add better effects to any of it’s other features, who know, as they are the worst effects I have ever seen composited. |
| But Battlestar has a life of it’s own, and maybe because they are running marathon episodes on SciFi. It’s got me back Galactica universe and look forward to the premiere tomorrow. |

April Break Away 0
|
|
| First I guess I should say happy April Fool’s Day, which in all honesty I am not a big fan of. I am not into practical jokes, and I think I hate them done to me more. Today was simply a busy day for me, and got caught into dealing with one of our photographer’s at work. Which again I am not a big fan of, to the point I hate it. I wish dealing with the public was easier for me. I think I handle with the public better than I have in my younger days on the surface, but I still get physically sick from my anxieties like I did this morning. I remember back when I was like 19 or so, when I took my first job that pushed me into retail customer service. Now this was back in the 80′s when depression and anxieties weren’t so main stream as they are today. I remember by the end of the day how physically sick I was to the point I would throw up. So I ended up going to the doctor, which of course he said I was fine. Till I told him my daily route — he’s reply ‘Get a new job’. After that I never did retail sales again and was fine, till I got the job at the photo lab and the lack of knowledge of the customer service base forces me to the front every so often. |
| At home I ended up finally watching a I ‘Netflixed‘. I saw back in the 80′s called Breaking Away from 1979. It was an independent movie shot in Bloomington Indiana about a boy coming of age with his friends living modestly on the out skirts of the big university. It had a minor love story, which is usually what draws me into these story based movies. But I guess what clicked for me besides the bicycling of course was the realization of how unfair life is, and how much you have to work just to get by. It still held up as I enjoy the movie. I just saw all the faults with the production of the film, as I have been educated in that since my last viewing. |

More Oscar 0
| Not sure why I get excited about the Academy Awards. I haven’t even seen most of the story lined artsy films. I am more a visual person. So if I go see a film in the theater it’s more incline to see it for the visual effects and not for some story. Television or movie rentals are for that. But walking over to Hollywood Blvd and seeing how much preparation is involved in the set up for this one event is amazing. I also have a curious nature so I guess that is another reason why I watch the oscars, superbowl, grammys, and other shows like that.
