End of the World Dream

Posted on: 06-9-2010 Posted in: Personal Log
In a dream I had early this morning I found myself in a place where the skies where filled with black storm clouds, almost hurricane winds, and multiple massive earthquakes. One could say it was the end of the world, but strangely I was not scared. As I simply watched in amazement of the beauty of the storm as I rode it out. I quickly noticed a girl running across a parking lot and fell hard. It was someone I knew, but had admired from a far. I ran to her to comfort her, and as the earthquakes increase. I whispered in her ear that I had always had the biggest crush on her. She just looked up at me and asked, “then how come you never asked me out?”. I found myself without an answer as I looked around. Here the world was coming to an end, and I wasn’t scared. Yet I was so scared to ask her out when it was a simple everyday life.
