Macworld 2008
If my dad and I ever spoke to each other I could imagine the conversation going like this…
my dad: “So, did you see the NFL playoffs?”
Me: “No, did you see Steve Jobs Keynote Address?
my dad: “Aaa, No?”
Me: “Well, then…”
as I walked away from the awkward conversation.
Looks like Steve Jobs announced a couple of new things I wasn’t expecting at the Macworld 2008 Keynote address. I saw the iTunes rentals coming and I like the idea. The Time Capsule looks interesting, basically an wireless airport with a hard drive. The new iPhone apps look so cool, I see good things happening with the iPhone with the SDK to be released soon. Now that the Apple TVs have drop $70 I am definitely going to get one. The Macbook Air looks amazing, it’s hard to believe a notebook could be that small, but it is not something I am looking to buy.
Even if you think badly of Steve Jobs you have to admire the way he presents his keynotes. he makes it look so easy, yet every time I watch him do his thing I want to buy whatever he’s selling.
