| I went to the VES Festival of Visual Effects at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills. Where I attended the VES 50 Most Influential Visual Effects Films of All Time discussion with an incredible panel which included Academy Award-winners John Dykstra, Richard Edlund, Dennis Muren, Ken Ralston, Doug Trumbull and and with moderator Academy Award-winner John Knoll. It was very intimidating to be in the presence of such talent, but also incredible at the same time. These were the guys that worked on the original Star Wars, 2001 Space Odyssey, Close Encounters! | |
